Madame Julia Correvon

I think this is the best true red clematis. This is a terrible picture. Single semi-nodding rich Red flowers cover this old time favorite in short order. A must have in every garden as well as a good choice for beginners. Can be cut back by half after first flowering for fall display.

Marcelina

Markham's Pink

Small to medium bright cheery bright pink flowers will cover your trellis in short order. They have the appearance of dancing ballerina's. This old time clematis has been around since 1935 and has stood the test of time. I say it is a must have in the garden.

Mrs. N. Thompson

Large deep Purple flowers with a bright red bar and red anthers. When in bloom at my plant sales Mrs N. Thompson is always the first to be sold out due to the brilliant color combination. It also tends to bloom most of the summer into late Oct where some protection is provided.
